St. John the Evangelist Religious Education Program is committed to the support of families in the faith formation of children who attend public schools. This mission is carried out through instruction in Catholic beliefs; through prayer experiences, community building and service; through preparation for the sacraments; and through participation in liturgical services--especially Sunday Mass.
Some people call this program "CCD" (from Confraternity of Chrisitian Doctrine, its former name) or simply "Catechism," but we provide additional formation opportunities than just knowledge based on the Catechism.
