The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament. Currently in a Civil Marriage
If you are a Catholic and are currently married civilly, that is, not in a Catholic ceremony, and would like to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony and thus return to the full practice of your religion, contact Deacon Keith.
Previous Marriages
If you or your spouse-to-be has been married previously, whether in a Catholic ceremony or not, whether your or she/he is a Catholic, whether the marriage lasted briefly or for years -- in other words, if there is any previous marriage in your relationship, you should talk to one of the clergy as soon as possible to discuss the details and the remedies available to you. Please don't accept as fact everything you've heard from other people -- there is a lot a wrong information floating around about previous marriages, annulments, tribunals, etc. Talk to us and get the right answer.
