Our Mission:
St. John the Evangelist Religious Education Program is committed to the support of families in the faith formation of children who attend public schools. This mission is carried out through instruction of Catholic-Christian beliefs; through prayer experiences, community building and service; through preparation for the sacraments; and through participation in liturgical services--especially Sunday Mass.

Weekly classes for grades kindergarten through eighth. Texts include for the parents overviews of the material covered in class and further adult faith enrichment.
Liturgy of the Word for children during the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass.
Supervision of pre-kindergarten children during the 10:00 AM Mass in the Kindergarten Room.
Scripture reflection and discussion for parents every Sunday from 9:10 to 9:50 during the children's class time.
Seasonal choir practice.
Training for participation in various parts of the Mass.
Training for altar servers. On-going enrichment opportunities.
